Education is a human right, and a powerful tool for eradicating poverty. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” (Mandela, 23 June 1990, speech, Madison Park High School, Boston,).

Education brings dignity and self-confidence; it enables individuals to reach their full potentials with the hope of securing a better future in their lives and are lifted from the vicious circle of poverty.

Against this background, ATB mobilises resources, to support educational needs of underprivileged children, including persons living with disabilities, from basic to tertiary levels, including school dropouts in deprived communities.

Additionally, we provide access to vocational trainings, skills development and economic empowerment, targeting a higher percentage of girls and women, in order to uplift them from extreme poverty and close the gender inequality gap.
