Mr. Philip Djabatey

Mr. Philip Djabatey is an astute Grants Manager and Auditor with experience working across West Africa for the past 8 years. Currently, he is the Grants Manager of West Africa Biodiversity and Low Emissions Development (WABiLED), a predecessor of the West Africa Biodiversity and Climatic Change Program (WABiCC) where he worked as a Senior Grants Specialist. Both projects were implemented by TetraTech ARD and funded by USAID.

Philip has also worked as Director of Procurements and Grants manager on the USAID Feed-the-Future Mobilizing Funds in Agriculture (MFA) implemented by Palladium PLL and as a Partner and Grants Manager with John Snow Incorporated (JSI) under the USAID funded Strengthening Partnerships, Results and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) and as Grants Officer on the FOCUS Health Region project. He spent 5 years working as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, mostly auditing donor funded projects such as DANIDA projects, USAID funded Millennium Development Authority, European Union projects, Global Fund project among others. Philip has extensive experience working in West Africa; having worked in countries such as Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Ghana.

Academically, Philip has Bachelor of Art Degree in Business Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and currently writing his level 2 papers in Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). This is in addition to Certificate in Management and Diploma in Business Administration, all from GIMPA.
