ACCESS TO BASICS (ATB) focuses on promoting the health and well-being of mother & child in order to reduce maternal-child mortality, as well as access to quality healthcare with our direct assistance, and enrolling them under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). We also sensitize teenage & adolescent girls on reproductive health, to prevent them from unwanted & teenage pregnancies, and other social vices.
We create awareness and sensitize communities on good hygiene and sanitation practices, as a direct strategy to fight preventable diseases such as Malaria, Typhoid, and Cholera, which are some of the leading causes of child mortality.
ATB also sensitizes pregnant women on the need for ante-natal and post natal care as well as lactating mothers on good nutritional practices to prevent malnutrition and stunted growth of their new-born and under-5 children.
